Retail back-office
The licence, the price and the customer stay yours. We build and run the back office underneath.
The licence, the price and the customer stay yours. We build and run the back office underneath.
What it is
We build and run the back-office systems licensed retailers rely on. The retailer holds the licence, sets the price, and owns the customer. We do not sell electricity, and we are not a broker.
Read that as a job description, not a slogan: everything a licensed WA electricity retailer needs to run its business month after month, minus the licence itself. Retail customer billing calculation, run to your billing cycle. A quality check of invoice values before they go out, so a bad number never reaches a customer's inbox. Monthly profitability reporting, by individual load and rolled up by portfolio. Monthly forecasting of portfolio cashflow and profitability, so finance sees what's coming before it arrives.
Verification runs the other way too: the settlement statements and invoices AEMO and Western Power issue you are checked line by line, not taken on trust. And we lodge your Energy Acquisition Statements with the Clean Energy Regulator (CER) - a discrete filing act carried out on your behalf. That is not the same thing as holding your CER account: the login, the credentials and the account stay yours, always.
We also run an operations QA plan built around the checkpoints the Economic Regulation Authority (ERA) tests in its periodic retail licence audit - so the evidence is already in order well before an auditor asks for it, not assembled under deadline.
Support for becoming a licensed retailer
If you don't hold a WA electricity retail licence yet, that's a separate piece of work we also do: helping a business build the operational case and the retail-competence evidence a licence application needs. The licence itself is always issued to you and held by you - we support the work of getting there, we don't obtain or hold it on your behalf, and this isn't a substitute for your own legal advice on the application.

Who it's for
Licensed WA electricity retailers who want part or all of the back office run for them, and businesses assessing or actively pursuing a retail licence of their own.
A schematic month, not a real timetable. Meter data becomes a bill; the bill is checked before it goes out; the settlement statements AEMO and Western Power issue back are checked against it; and the result rolls up into that month's profitability and cashflow position - then the same run starts again for the next billing period.
